Now, we’re not so sure.
We used to think we could trust what we see.
Images, videos, whole realities — spun up by algorithms faster than we can blink.
It’s getting harder to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s generated.
Some of it is beautiful.
Some of it is terrifying.
Most of it sits somewhere in between.
Alkemist is just two people and a dog, figuring it out like everyone else
AI has cracked open our creative process in ways we never imagined.
— we feel the shift every day.
It lets us dream faster, build weirder, test ideas we might not have dared on our own.
It’s changing how we work, and what we expect from ourselves.
It’s fun.
It’s addictive.
But it’s not all wonder.
There’s a real risk too.
When everything can look real,
when every voice can be cloned,
What happens to truth?
what happens to trust?
every moment faked —
We don’t really have answers.
Other days we’re uneasy about where it might be taking us.
Some days we’re amazed by what’s possible.
What started as a small game to test ourselves turned into something else.
To start asking better questions.
To practice seeing.
A way to notice.
We’re not sure where it leads.
Probably nowhere simple.
But maybe that’s enough —
to keep looking a little closer.
to stay awake,
to pay attention,
To sense the shift yourself —
and see if you can still tell what’s real.
